Alexandra Edwards - Why I created EME

After working across CAMHS, education and counselling, I felt there was a gap between clinical support and education.

People were using services but time constraints meant that few were being taught how their minds and bodies actually work.

EME grew from a simple belief:

understanding yourself changes everything.

Most support in health and education begins when something has gone wrong. We work differently.

Rather than waiting for people to reach crisis point, we teach the essential knowledge and everyday skills that help them understand themselves, navigate challenges and build lifelong mental fitness.

By combining essential biology, teaching, counselling and coaching, EME supports people facing emotional, educational and everyday life challenges ranging from anxiety and school avoidance to ADHD, dyslexia, confidence and communication.
